Built to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix, this interactive and lively museum opened in 1993 and offers a range of exhibits and experiences, including a simulated drive around the Formula 3 track. The Macau Grand prix started when a group of Macanese residents held a friendly race on the streets of Macau, driving course similar to the circuit in Monaco.
Many of the pieces on display (including race cars and motorbikes) have been donated by ex-competitors and winners, and will be greatly appreciated by car lovers. For more on the Grand Prix check out, if all this looking at cars has you ready to race, there’s go-karting available on Coloane
